Greetings!
I've been with PoE since 2015 and have enjoyed it as my only game right now. And regardless all of the forum and Reddit hate, there are plenty of pleasant and sensible users within the PoE community. It looks like OPA is one of those, or at least I hope! I love the application process and care taken in planning and organizing this guild.
I'm currently a member of another guild, and joined to be a part of a friendly, active guild. Unfortunately, what was shown on the surface of that guild wasn't represented once inside. I don't like to talk about other guilds or people behind their backs, so I won't name the guild name. I know that information is available on the PoE forums for my account, but no point in stating that here. To make a long story short, the guild isn't as active, nor as friendly as I had imagined. Lots of people who never communicate or help, or even request help, and officers who rarely show up, along with a Discord server as an afterthought, with infrequent text communication and no voice. A sad state of affairs. Any ways...
I'm more of an ARPG, RPG, and MMO player, but not so much of the latter these days. Married in 2014 (I waited far too long), I don't have quite the same amount of time to game as I did in my MMO days. APRGs are far better for my schedule. Wife is an RN who works the swing shift, so I can game evenings for two weeks, then not so much for next two weeks.
I had to register the forum account here as "cipher", since these forums do not allow underscores. My GGG account is "cipher_nemo" on the forums there.
Looking forward to meeting people from OPA! :-)

Requirements from OPA Thread
- 17 years old min: I'm 42.
- English, no foul language: I don't engage in foul language :-)
- Family-friendly: Courteous to all in a guild setting!
- Merc, level 70 min: Level 91, 82, and 41 in Standard, 80 in Breach SC, and 47 in Permanent HC.
- PoE account as old or older than 4 months: Joined in October 2015.
- Fair gameplay: I don't scam, don't play with hacks, etc.
- No offensive account/character names: Ciphariel, Ciphara, Cipherin, Ciphorin, Cipherot
