Howdy fellas. First of: Is having reached cruelty a hard requirement? I'm lvl 23 atm and almost done with act 2. If it is a hard requirement just delete this and I'll come back in a week or so If not... Heya guys 'n galls. I'm Geargrinder. a 31 year old male hailing from the northern parts of the Netherlands. I've been gaming for as long as I can remember and probably will do so till the day I die! I recently got into PoE and so far I like it a lot. There's quite some mechanics which I don't get yet, but nothing that experience won't remedy. As with most MMO games it's more fun to belong to a group. Either just for chatting or playing together ^^ I've played lots of Diablo, Diablo II and some Diablo III RoS, but that endgame isn't for me. I don't know if the creator of the guild is a Dutchman, but opa is the Dutch word for grandfather. Since I'm old compared to most gamers, I was drawn to this guild. Upon reading that it's a large social guild I was sold and now you're reading my application Dunno really what more you'd like to know atm. Cheers, GG

Hi Geargrinder. Yes, having reached the Cruel difficulty is a requirement, this is to ensure that every guild member have the basics knowledge of the game. It is actually not hard to achieve, you'll get there soon. Bump this thread when you do so; we want you with us.
PS: The founder leaders are from the United Kingdom, and yes, they knew about the "opa" meaning in Dutch, it means the same thing in German and Afrikan, and "wow" in Portuguese. Funny and cool.

Please register with your Path of Exile account name and read the guild rules. I'll invite you in-game right after.
